Women on Boards and Governance New Zealand have announced that applications are open for the 2016 Women in Governance Awards and close on Tuesday 31 May 2016
“This programme recognises and celebrates innovation, excellence, creativity and commitment to diversity by organisations and individuals. There are seven categories and we invite you to apply, either as an individual or an organisation. Workshops – “Getting Board Ready and Beyond”
Governance New Zealand have announced a series of workshops under the banner “Women on Boards”. These will be held in the main centres in May:
“Simon Telfer will facilitate a 3 hour workshop ensuring maximum learning through presentation, peer to peer conversations, case studies and interactive discussions. He will also share his research around governance appointments in New Zealand.”

National Roadshow Events – Prepare to be inspired … second round of National Roadshow events launched
The first series of National Roadshow events were held in November 2015 and attracted over 300 professional women at four locations across the country.
Governance New Zealand and Women on Boards invite women to “Join fellow professional women for a stimulating evening of networking, information gathering, bubbles and canapes. Special guest presenters in each location. There is no charge to attend the roadshow events but registration is essential.”
Christchurch – Wednesday 18 May
Hamilton – Thursday 26 May
Wellington – Tuesday 31 May
Auckland – scheduled for later in the year
