Charities Amendment Bill
The Government Administration Committee is seeking submissions on the Charities Amendment Bill. The closing date for submissions is Friday 29 July 2016.
The amendments in the bill were formerly contained in the Statutes Amendment Bill.
The Charities Amendment Bill was initially Part 3 of the Statutes Amendment Bill and has been separated from that bill for further committee consideration. The bill proposes to amend sections 16, 18 and 61 of the Charities Act 2005. A copy of the Statutes Amendment Bill is available online [here].
Submissions should be forwarded by the due date, either online using our website (www.parliament.nz) or in writing to the address below.
