Our not for profit client was in a quandary when we met them. When their employee left suddenly, they realised how much they’d relied on her to keep the office running smoothly. That’s when they approached us as an alternative option to hiring someone. When we started the processes were manual and their reporting wasn’t always clear. They were using desktop software, and records were paper based. They wanted to streamline their processes so we decided that online accounting and payroll software was the way to go. All documents are scanned to Xero, which means their auditor has everything at her fingertips. Auckland Community Accounting
Auckland North Community and Development (ANCAD), in partnership with the School of Accountancy at Massey University, is developing a new FREE initiative to support local charities and other not-for-profit organisations in Auckland with their accounting needs. This initiative, Community Accounting, involves providing free accounting mentoring, advice and training to Auckland charities by Massey senior accounting students supervised by Chartered Accountants.
